Xiaomi is expected to launch the 15 and 15 Pro smartphones on October 20during an event in China. Today we have our first look at the Xiaomi 15 Pro thanks to some leaked renders that show the device in three colors: black, white and silver. A special titanium edition will also be available.
The phone has a design on the back that is quite reminiscent of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Prowhich was launched last year. The main difference is that the LED flash is now moved outside the camera island.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is rumored to come with a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel made by TCL, a “2K” resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
Leica’s triple camera setup consists of a 50 MP main unit with a 1/1.3″ sensor and f/1.4 aperture, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50 MP 5x telemacro camera with a minimum focusing distance of 30 cm. For selfies, there is a 32 MP snapper.
The device comes with five promised major Android updates, satellite connectivity for the titanium edition, and a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired, 80W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
