This is the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, fresh off its global debut at IFA 2024 a few moments ago. The €599/£499 tablet is on sale today, and for that you get a sleek device with excellent multimedia credibility.

The tablet comes with a 66W charger and a USB cable, which is a good start.

The tablet’s predecessor had a slightly larger 13-inch display, but the MagicPad 2 makes the switch to an OLED panel with the same 144Hz refresh rate. The panel has beautiful images and is very bright, with a maximum of 1,600 nits!

To fully exploit the potential of the MatePad 2 12.3, you can equip it with the optional Magic Pencil 3 and Smart Bluetooth Keyboard. Even better, Honor is throwing in the keyboard, Pencil, and Earbuds X6 for free with the tablet for those who place their orders now.

That’s a good deal that gives you a fully functional package for a reasonable price.

The keyboard is great with solid key travel and well-spaced keys. It lacks a trackpad though and attaches the old-fashioned way – no magnets here.

The Pencil 3 has a 2ms latency, supports 4096 pressure levels, and attaches magnetically to the top of the tablet, where it can also be charged wirelessly.

The size is comfortable and it weighs 17.4 grams.
