Samsung launched the Galaxy A25 back in December of last year, so we’re quickly approaching the point where the sequel needs to be made official. That hasn’t happened yet, but today we do have the first leaked renders that show the upcoming Galaxy A26 in all its glory.
The phone measures 164 x 77.5 x 7.7mm (9.7mm if you include the camera bump). That makes it intriguingly bigger, wider and slimmer than its predecessor – there’s a strong hint here that the screen will be larger than the 6.5-inch panel used by the A25, and in fact the source of these renders speculates that it will be approximately 6.64″.
According to a benchmark, the A26, like the A25, will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1280 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM in one version (although, as for the A25, more options will certainly be offered). The Galaxy A26 may be launched from day one with Android 15 on board and should be comparable in price to its predecessor.
As you can see from the renders, the phone has a flat screen with a positively vintage-looking waterdrop notch and a thick bottom bezel. The three rear cameras are all on the same island, no more individual circles.
The sides are also flat, because of course they are in 2024, but the right side also houses Samsung’s Key Island, which protrudes from the flat frame and houses the power and volume buttons.
