The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was reportedly next monthaccording to an earlier rumor, we heard last week it could drop this weekbut that hasn’t happened yet. Meanwhile, the phone keeps leaking, as it has for quite some time now.
An official unboxing video has been released by the legendary leaker Evan Blass over to X. It confirms the spartan box, and also the fact that it’s black cardboard. You don’t get a charger, but hopefully you weren’t expecting one at this point. The S24 FE is offered in blue, graphite, gray, mint, and yellow.
The video also promises “the most powerful camera ever in the Galaxy FE series”, with “stunning low-light portraits”. The camera system consists of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP 3x optical zoom telephoto, and a 10MP selfie camera.
At the helm is Samsung’s own Exynos 2400e chipset, which is essentially an underclocked version of the Exynos 2400. The display is 6.7-inches with a 1900 nit peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus+, while the battery capacity is 4700mAh.
The device is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and supports Galaxy AI. According to a separate leakit will start at $649 in the US with 128GB of storage. If you want the 256GB version, you’ll have to pay $709. That price is a $50 jump from last year Galaxy S23 FE when it was launched.
For what it’s worth, earlier this month a there was whispering that there would be a similar price increase for Europe, where the device would be €50 more expensive than its predecessor.
