Yesterday a leak revealed that one jelly case for the Samsung Galaxy S25Ultrabut we had to imagine the phone that would have to go inside. Now our imaginations can be helped with photos and a video showing a phone dummy, courtesy of xlek7 And Online Solitaire.
The dimensions of the S25 Ultra are written on the front of the dummy: 162.82 x 77.65 x 8.25 mm. For comparison, the S24 Ultra measures 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.6 mm and weighs 232 grams. Now the dummy can’t tell us the weight of the new Ultra, but… Ice universe set it to 219 g. So the new phone is a fraction of a millimeter larger, but more than a millimeter narrower, slightly thinner and noticeably lighter.

This new design should go a long way in improving the phone’s ergonomics – people had some legitimate complaints about the S24 Ultra.
Anyway, the 2025 flagship should have that extra thin edges (30% thinner than on the 2024 model, i.e. from 3.35mm to 2.3mm). You can see the edges on the dummy.
You can also see the punch-hole for the selfie camera (no upgrades expected here) and the earpiece on the top edge. On the back there’s a circular notch – presumably this is where the wireless charging coil will be (this is important information for case makers, the main users of dummies like this).
There’s also a photo of the side of the phone, but there’s not much to see – just the usual buttons. You didn’t expect an action button or camera control, did you?
