A Galaxy S25 Ultra unit was tested on Geekbench, giving us the first CPU rating and telling us more about the chipset.
The listing revealed that the CPU will get two cores running at 4.2GHz and another six cores running at up to 2.9GHz. This is a significant improvement over its predecessor.
The results for single-core and multi-core are around 30% higher than they were on the Qualcomm-powered Galaxy S24 Ultra. We also get confirmation of the new architecture (2+6), previously seen in an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 version with questionable results.
The model number of the SM-938U indicates that this version will be sold in the United States. Galaxy S25 Ultra is listed with Android 15 and 12GB of RAM, which was to be expected, although we also 16 GB versions.
