Samsung hasn’t even announced it yet Galaxy S25 family yet we are already talking about the Galaxy S26 series, which will most likely be released in January 2026. Still, a new rumor from a tipster on
This follows a rumor that this was not achieved for the S25 models due to yield issues for the Exynos 2500, which would power them in most markets. So the rumor is that the S25 line will go with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, if not everywhere, then almost everywhere, while the Exynos 2500, whose yields have finally been confirmed in recent days, will be pushed to the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip FE instead of.
It’s clear that Samsung hopes that the (presumed) Exynos 2600 for the Galaxy S26 generation won’t encounter the same production issues as its predecessor and thus help reduce the company’s dependence on Qualcomm in the high-end segment.
Of course, follow the usual advice – this is just an unconfirmed rumor at this point, so it could be completely made up. From a business perspective, though, it makes sense for Samsung, so there’s that.
Previous S26-related rumors claimed the vanilla model can be droppedthe The S26 Ultra could be called S26 Note, and the S26+ could be called S26 Pro.
