Samsung is preparing to launch the Fold7 and Flip7 with larger screens in 2025, but it looks like the Korean company is gearing up for a big leap after them.
According to Ross Young, CEO of DSCC, we will see a triple Galaxy smartphone in early 2026.
Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, the only triple foldable tablet currently on the market
The announcement came on social media, where the display supply chain consultant shared his inside info in a response to yesterday’s report. Samsung isn’t planning a triple display until 2025, and it looks like the company will focus on regaining its lost market share.
A triple smartphone is a completely new challenge, and Huawei is the only company so far that manages to produce a market-ready product, even though quantities are limited.
We expect Samsung to launch the new product in early 2026 as a preliminary response to the rumors about the foldable iPhone that may or may not be released in September 2026. That’s still a while away, though, so obviously plans could change.
