Sony has announced a new set of colors for its PlayStation 5 panels and DualSense controller. Dubbed the Chroma Collection, the set is themed around iridescence and includes three new shades.
Below that is Chroma Pearl, which at first glance looks similar to the original white color, but has a pearlescent sheen with colors that subtly shift between light pink and cream. Chroma Indigo is a bolder shade that sits somewhere between deep blue and vibrant purple. Finally, there is Chroma Teal, which contains several deep shades of green with a hint of blue.
Chroma Pearl • Chroma Indigo • Chroma Blue Green
The Chroma Collection will only be available as console covers for the redesigned PlayStation 5 slim model, and will cost $65 per color. You can also pick up the new DualSense models, which sport the new color combinations (but are otherwise functionally the same) for $80 each.
Pre-orders for the Chroma collection begin on October 3. The Chroma Pearl and Chroma Indigo accessories launch on November 7, while Chroma Teal won’t hit the market until much later, on January 23, 2025.
