The Samsung Galaxy S25 And Galaxy S25+ are expected to be unveiled in January and are currently slowly being approved and certified by various regulatory bodies around the world.
The 3C certification in China today revealed a rather disappointing fact. Both phones will have exactly the same maximum charging levels as their predecessors.
So the Galaxy S25 will charge at up to 25W, while the Galaxy S25+ will go up to 45W. That’s via USB-C, of course. Wireless charging speeds unfortunately aren’t revealed via the 3C certification, so we’ll have to wait until those details are confirmed.
Meanwhile, we have another area of stagnation for Samsung’s flagship smartphone line: the design of the S25 And S25+ another very clear example of this is that both phones look almost identical as the Milky Way S24 And S24+So it’s clear that the S25 and S25+ will focus on refinements and not on revolutionising the market in any way.
