Oppo launches the Find X8 And Find X8 Pro later this monthbut the Find X8 Ultra will not join them. So if you’ve been wondering when you can expect the Find X8 Ultra to become official, a new rumor gives us a rough time frame, and it’s the first quarter of next year.
This means that Oppo’s absolute flagship will arrive between January and March. During the same period, Oppo would also unveil the Find N5 foldable, the successor to the Find N3 from 2023 (the “4” is apparently skipped due to tetraphobia).

If history repeats itself, the Find N5 will be released in international markets as the OnePlus Open 2, and that phone could very well launch in the first quarter of 2025.
Interestingly, the source of today’s rumor says that Oppo is testing the Find N5 with the same camera setup as the Find X8 Ultra, but will likely abandon it and continue with a tri-cam setup. This tells us that the Find X8 Ultra will unsurprisingly rock four cameras on the back.
But it’s also disappointing to hear that the Find N5’s camera game won’t be on the same level. On the other hand, all foldable products lag at least a little behind their slab-style counterparts in that regard, so this wouldn’t be anything new.
