Xiaomi claimed the second spot in Counterpoint research‘s global monthly sales volumes for August. The Chinese brand surpassed Apple, which came in third, while Samsung retained the leading spot.
Xiaomi’s sales remained stable in August, but Apple’s seasonal decline in sales ahead of the launch of the iPhone 16 series played a crucial role in the decline in market share.
Redmi Note 13: Pro 4G, Pro 5G, Pro+ 5G
On the other hand, Xiaomi is set to grow rapidly in 2024 with a 22% YoY growth in sales volume. Analysts at Counterpoint point to Xiaomi’s success in the sub-$200 price bracket with the Redmi 13 and the Note 13 series devices are key growth drivers in key markets such as USA, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa.
