The Redmi 14C introduced Last month, the ‘R’ model has now been added. The Redmi 14R is built around a 6.88″ 120Hz HD+ LCD with 600 nits peak brightness and wet touch support.
The Redmi 14C has the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC at the helm with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.
For photography, you get a 13MP primary camera on the back, supplemented by an unknown unit, while on the front there’s a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling. Keeping the lights on comes courtesy of a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging support.
Other highlights of the Redmi 14R include a dedicated microSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Redmi 14R comes in four colors with four storage options — 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB, priced at CNY1,099 ($155/€140/INR12,995), CNY1,499 ($210/€190/INR17,725), CNY1,699 ($240/€215/INR20,090) and CNY1,899 ($265/€240/INR22,455). The smartphone will go on sale in China through Xiaomi’s website but its availability in other markets is unknown.
